Not been on a catered ski holiday before?
Thinking about it but thinking costs seem high?
If you haven't been on a catered holiday before you may think that the prices may seem high compared with self-catered prices
But the difference may not be what it seems when you consider what you are getting for that extra hard earned cash
The most obvious benefit is the food, you will be given a hearty breakfast every morning, tea & cake on your return from the slopes in the afternoon, plus the big one ! The 4 course meal with wine, undoubtedly the biggest reason to go catered, all without having to leave the chalet. We'll generally serve a kids meal first, so the youngest can go to bed or perhaps watch a DVD, which allows the parents to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal at their own pace.
The only food you'll need to buy is your lunch whilst out on the mountain. No need for anyone to cook or wash up or stand in that massive queue at the mini-market to buy groceries at twice the normal price.
The chef will have 1 night off during the week, when you'll be free the sample one of the many restaurants in the village. The food is generally of a very high standard, although the restaurants are often quite noisy & busy. You'll find that eating out isn't cheap either, one night is a nice treat but a whole week would soon hurt the wallet.
But food is by no means the only benefit of going catered
- Our minibus will pick you up from Geneva airport and transport you around the resort all week, no need to hire a car at the airport and try to find your way on unfamiliar roads.
- Jacuzzi / Hot tub is very high on the list of treats too, what can be better after a hard day out on the slopes then to relax them achy muscles in the outdoor Jacuzzi whilst admiring the alpine views, and possibly the clear starry night. Jacuzzis aren't usually found at self-catered chalets because they need daily care to keep the water clean and safe.
- High quality linen and towels supplied - our beds all have top quality Egyptian cotton linen and are made up ready for your arrival. No need to pay extra for linen or make your our bed up when you arrive after hours of traveling.
- No need to clean the chalet before you leave or pay extra to have this done.
- Plus not forgetting the simple luxury of been looked after for your stay
