The Chalet Bonjour-Colettine in Tignes Les Brevieres is the ultimate ski Chalet, offering fully catered accommodation right next to the piste. Included in the ski holiday is on piste ski guiding on 5 days. Meals in your Tignes Chalet include breakfast and afternoon tea on seven days and evening meal with wine on six days. There is free wifi and English TV in the chalet. The chalet has six bedrooms and five bathrooms comfortably sleeping twelve guests.
The chalet has recently been renovated to the top standards, incorporating many unique touches, resulting in a welcoming and convenient ski base that is full of charm. Natural materials have been used wherever possible, as can be seen from the photographs. Tignes les Brévières is the oldest and prettiest of the five villages that make up the skiing and snowboarding resort of Tignes in the huge Espace Killy ski area. Unlike the others, it is relatively unspoilt, with many of the buildings being old, original and of traditional alpine design. The church, on the main street, just a stone’s throw away from our chalets, dates from the 13th century. It offers the perfect combination of authentic rural appeal, picturesque views, together with quick, queue-free lifts to 300 kms of the world class skiing of the Espace Killy.
In the Espace Killy there are literally hundreds of miles of pisted runs and thousands of acres of off piste. “So what”, you may say. “Tignes France is not the only huge ski area in the Alpes”. That may be true, but the principle reason why Tignes and the linked resort of Val d’Isere are so exceptional, is, that massive investment in modern lifts enables you to travel across the whole area, and go from one amazing descent to another with never a dull spot in between. When you ski Tignes you will ski more miles of different piste in a day than any other resort in France.
