All Inclusive Ski Package Holidays November 24th, 2011
All inclusive ski holidays seem to have become the latest crazy this year with all the big operators advertising their great deals. But there is nothing new about this concept, independently operated ski chalets have been offering these holidays for years.
I think independent chalets really have the ability to offer a better service in this area than large tour operators, because of the attention to detail and one to one customer contact that is provided.
Here at Chalet Les Trois Canards we have been providing excellent value ski chalet holidays for over 5 years, once the guest arrives at the chalet they should have no more hassle, thus enabling them to to relax and enjoy their holiday.
Being a year round resident of the resort means we have the local knowledge to ensure that every guest will be able to experience the best the resort can offer, whether that maybe skiing / apres / restaurnants.
For most independents the chalet business is there main source of income and so it is very important to them that the business works well. Which means that its important guests go home very happy with their holiday.
Perfect Autumn Days Above Chatel November 19th, 2011
The high pressure system which has been sitting over Europe for the last few weeks has produced a very stable weather over Chatel, we have had clear blue skies without a cloud in sight for all that time.
Perfect weather for Autumn walks in the mountains with the kids, so long as you stay in the sunshine its warm enough to wear just t-shirt, especially on the way up.
The cows have all been moved down the mountains ready to go into their sheds as soon as the weather changes, so it’s unusually quiet up there without the constant clanging of cow bells echoing around the slopes.
Looking at the long range forecast there might be a change coming at the end of next week, watch this space.
Wine Cellar is Full November 14th, 2011
Our main delivery of wine arrived today and has been stored away ready for the winter ski season.
Relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening is a perfect way to recover from a busy day on the slopes, all included in the service of your ski holiday at Les Trois Canards.
We carefully select our red, white and rose wines to accompany and compliment our delicious evening meals. Often one of the highlights of our guests stay.

Ski Boot Warmers for the Chalet November 4th, 2011
This year we will have ski boot warmers in the chalet so everyone can start the day with toasty warm feet, perfect for those cold winter mornings.
Down at the Pre-La-Joux ski slopes work is nearly finished on this years improvements. There are now snow cannons covering all the main slopes in that area “Snow Sure Chatel”, and a sparkling new “Rochassons” 6-man fast lift which has replaced the creaky old 2-man.
Bring on the snow, winter here we come!
